Trip Itinerary

DAY 1- Sat, April 9: Arrive Tel Aviv airport; you'll be met by Sar El tours representative who will assist you, and with your guide and driver who will be with you for the tour. We'll be transferred to our hotel on the Israeli Mediterranean coast for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2- Sun, April 9: After breakfast, we'll drive to Caesarea (Acts 10:1-5, 25-28; Acts 23:23-24), which was the seat of the Roman governor when the Romans ruled the land. Today we can see the Aqueduct and Amphitheater. We'll continue to Muchraka (Mount Carmel) - the place where prophet Elijah defeated the 400 Baal prophets (I Kings 18:25-40), we'll visit Haifa promenade for an overview of Baha'i Gardens, Port and City of Haifa. We'll then visit Megiddo (Armageddon)- the site of the last war (Revelation 16:16), we'll continue our way passing Nazareth- the boyhood city of Jesus Christ, we'll see Annunciation Church (Luke 1:26)-, and do a tour of the city's bazaar. After Nazareth we'll drive to Cana where the first miracle happened (John 2:1).. We'll arrive to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3- Mon April 11th :After breakfast we'll drive to Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus Christ delivered the sermon on the mountain (Matthew 5:1-12). We'll then go to Tabgha where it is believed that the miracle of the fish and the loaves happened, St Peter of Primacy (Matthew 14:13-21; John 21). Capernaum –one of the main cities in the area in Jesus' time (Matthew 4:13– 8:5 – 9:1 – 11:23 – 17:24). We'll then be able to feel how it was like in Jesus' time Seaof Galilee with a Boat Ride across the Sea of Galilee (Mark 8:23-27). We'll finish our day in Yardenit baptismal site, where if one wants he can be baptized. (Matthew 3:13) We'll drive to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4- Tue, April 12th:After breakfast at hotel, we'll continue south through the Jordan Valley, looking at the feet of the Jordanian mountains from the left, and of Samaria by the right. We'll visit the oldest known city in the world- Jericho, (Joshua 6) after arriving to the Dead Sea we'll visit Qumran- the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and we'll swim (or Float...) out the Dead Sea. We'll then make our way east ascending to Jerusalem and spend our night in Jerusalem

DAY 5- Wed, April 13th: After breakfast at hotel we'll drive to Jerusalem visiting Mount of Olives- (Zechariah 14:4 Luke 21) the place where Jesus Christ spent his last hours, and the place where He made his way into Jerusalem, riding the back of the donkey- a way that we will do too by Palm Sunday path to Garden of Gethsemane- the place where Jesus prayed in his last hours (Mark 14:32-42 Luke 22:39-48). We'll visit Caiaphas's House (chief priest in Jesus' time) (Matthew 26:57-67) Mount Zion – Upper Room (last supper) (Mark 14:12), Jewish and Christian Quarters, Western Wall- the only remain from the Temple, and the Jewish holiest place.

DAY 6- Thu, April 14th: Breakfast at hotel, we'll visit City of David- the excavations of old Jerusalem from King David's time (2 Samuel 5:6-16). We'll continue visiting Temple Mount, St. Ann, Ecce Homo- believed to be the place where Pilat gave Christ out to the crowds to be judged, Via Dolorosa- the way of suffering (Luke 23:26-31) and the old city bazaar. We'll finish the day with communion in the Garden Tomb- the place believed to be the empty grave (John 19:17). We'll then have dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 7- Fri, April 15th: After breakfast at hotel we will Visit Yad VaShem- a magnificent museum of the Holocaust (THIS IS AMAZING- Amy) and Israel Museum + Model city, where we'll see the Shrine of the Book- where the Dead Sea scrolls are kept and the model city of Jerusalem from the second temple era. We'll drive to Bethlehem where we'll visit Church of Nativity (Mathew 1:18), and Shepherd's Field- where the shepherds heard the good news. We'll return to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 8- Sat, April 16: Breakfast at hotel, transfer to our departure from Tel Aviv airport with assistance of Sar-El representative for a safe flight home.
